I’m back from a fabulous two weeks in the Dominican. My first week there I had the privilege of representing General Cigar at the 5th Annual ProCigar Festival.  It’s a week-long festival that celebrates Dominican cigars and culture.  Cigar enthusiasts who attend this wonderful event were treated to a tour of the General Cigar factory in Santiago and a visit to the fields.  If you’ve never been there it’s an amazing experience.  Each day ended with a fabulous gala dinner complete with meringue dancing and premium cigars, truly celebrating the spirit of the Dominican people. My favorite evening was the White Party Gala held at the Monument a Los Heroes de la Restauracion (which, for those of you in the know, was the inspiration for the Artesanos de Obelisco.  Talk about kismit, huh?).

After the festival ended I spent the next week with all my brothers down at the factory (still missing ya, Yuri!). Together we worked on some amazing new innovations.  Unfortunately, I’m sworn to secrecy and can’t say any more at this time, but trust me, bro, it’s gonna blow your mind!
